My very own food journal. I guess this will be a food and drink consumption journal rather. I am not sure if this will a traditional one, however. It will most likely also contain views on diet, exercise, and weight.

Extra 79 points
I have become disappointed in myself. I am so saddened about my lack of progress. I am trying so hard to lose weight. Now I know why I quit Weight Watchers a second time. I gave up. I feel like giving up. I see myself as a failure right now. I have low self-esteem and now I see myself as someone who is fat and lazy. I have dealt with being overweight and being given a hard time about who I am. I sometimes wish that things could change. It is hard doing something about it. Right now, I have an extra 79 points. Yep, I definitely need help.

Dealing with the anxiety
I tend to think things through yet I have difficulty applying things to my situations. In this case, it is anxiety. All I know is that I would like to overcome the anxiety that goes with wanting to give up. I need help in moving forward. That is the real reason why I give up. I would like to change that, but I don't know how. How do I overcome this anxiety? What are the changes that I need to make? I would like to lose this weight and keep it off.

Mindless Eating
For the past two days including today, I consumed a total of 124 points plus. I would be saddened except that it was a lesson in mindless eating. I admit that I do tend to engage in mindless eating every once in a while. I do have my target foods that I snack on and that I don't need to cook like crackers and some cereals. However, I don't have to eat them much less buy them. So next month I will consume healthy foods and skip the cookies and crackers, especially the crackers. It also would help if I didn't buy the cream cheese and the bagels. Bagels and cream cheese take up quite a few points and whenever I make a budget of 40 points or even 50 points, I now realize that it is time to make minor changes such as using Ziploc bags so that I will only consume a smart amount and being consistent with what I have learned. Doing something about it keeps me from being fixated on my weight. The biggest issue is not knowing why I engage in such mindless eating, not binge eating, which would be worse on my health. This would at most cause me to give up. Looking at myself in the mirror and reminding myself of why I want to lose weight are those things that will cause me to look forward and not to focus on my past mistakes.

Things that can take me far
I would like to make changes to my attitude when it comes to admitting my mistakes. I now believe that a change an attitude requires a change in expression, no matter how minutes. A little does indeed go a long way. I consumed nearly 70 Plus Points, with now only 22 points leftover for the week. What has been helpful is not planning meals and menus in advance but also sticking to them. It also does not hurt to be honest about the mistakes that I make. Honesty when it comes to a weight loss journey also goes a long way. I knew that things wouldn't be perfect along the way. I had to deal with these painful issues at hand. I say painful because I still have to deal with being overwhelmed. Also the best thing to do is to follow the instructions and take things slow. Take things one thing at at time would thirdly go a long way. Yes, there are things that one can do in a weight loss journey whereas one can take things farther than even I imagine. I guess that "low and slow " is truly the best way to go.

Celebrating my success but learning from my mistakes
I have lost over 7 pounds. So far, so good. If only I had learned more and done more with how I utilized what was at my disposal then maybe I would have lost weight a while ago. Anyways, there is no use crying over spilled milk. So far, Weight Watchers has been easy to commit. However, I did slip up quite a bit today as I have eaten a lot of food. This happens not long after I buy food. I tend to buy a lot of food and consuming the extra food is a weakness that I would like to work on. I am doing okay just as long as I plan my meals in advance, AND also sticking to that plan.

Barley and WW
I am not sure at one time that I would be committed but now they have a coach. So far it has been easy to commit. Unfortunately I have trouble committing for a long period of time. Nowadays my health and my wallet depends on my commitment to the WW program. Today I consumed barley, which is good with soup. I may have consumed too much barley which is gummy like rice with too much water. The taste isn't bad but it needs to be doctored up. So what I did was doctor it up with salt and some Progresso soup. Oh, I also have to learn how to consume healthy foods. I was given a maximum of 43 points with 49 weekly points. I use the points system and so far, so good.

Being committed to WW and being committed to losing weight with WW
I believe that commitment is the key to losing weight. Taking small steps has been hard but even the smallest easiest thing to do can be a daunting task. All I know to do is to not give up and live out this journey one day at a time. So far, so good. It is amazing and I feel like I have lost weight already. Maybe I should just think about the good things which is hard for me to do at times. I have issues that have overwhelmed me so much that I was overwhelmed last night in my sleep. I consumed less food than I thought I would during a holiday. Planning my meals has become a skill of mine in no part to the instructions in using Weight Watchers (for a third time).
