My very own food journal. I guess this will be a food and drink consumption journal rather. I am not sure if this will a traditional one, however. It will most likely also contain views on diet, exercise, and weight.

Journal entry for 7/23/15
My food choices have been unhealthy lately. I cannot expect to lose weight on a weekly basis, even a 1 lbs. loss if I keep this up. I now worry about what will happen if I don't at least learn how to consume healthier fare. I am lucky that my cholesterol is normal and so is my blood pressure. It has been this way over the years. I now wonder what it will be like for me to no longer take any blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol medication. As of right now, I am still taking all three meds, but I still wonder. Anyways, I do eat the wrong kinds of foods, even in moderation. I do consume not only gravy and the fried chicken, but I also drink the sweet drinks and eat an abundance of dessert. Sure they taste good, but I think it is better if I lay off of them or cut them out completely. I have realized this for a long time, but I need to take action when it comes to my food intake. If I don't then I will end up feeling guilty, I will not even lose weight slowly, and I may end up at least some complications from the diabetes. Those are not the things that I want to end up dealing with for at least in the long term. It is time for me to act for the long term.
